2 weeks and counting. My manager is back! Yayyyy! Missed him so very much. I popped by his office just before lunch and had a chat. He told me about the places he went in NY. In 2 weeks time, I will be on the jetplane and will be in NY in mid October (the later part of our trip). This time, I will be watching more musicals, visit the newly opened memorial site, shop and eat lotsa nice fine food. Holidays..ahhhh...it's always nice to have something to look forward to.
There's one thing about working in the education/uni environment. People travel heaps. Especially the academics - for research, conferences and meetings. Everywhere I go and everyone I speak to has travel stories to share. And one of the lovely things some of them do is buy back little trinkets for us. So far, I haven't collected heaps yet just two.
This week's pretty busy bee. Tuesday night's dinner with the camp rego girls. My treat for us four. Thursday night is 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' movie premier, I got free tickets for Jolvin and moi. Yay!! Love Ryan Gosling!
Ahhhh..sometimes I wonder whether boys/guys actually listens. I think half of the time when I am talking, Jolvin's just daydreaming or something. We just had a back and forward sms exchange on our plans for the weekend. I reminded him just recently and he can still suggest doing something else this coming weekend. *Speechless*... men/boys!
